Waterford GTF Taekwon-Do
Master Neil Franks was born 1971 in Johannesburg, South Africa. He started Judo at the age of 6 yrs old and qualified as a 1st degree Black Belt by the age of 16. Master Franks started Taekwon-Do at the 10 yrs old, under Mr. James Brooks in 1983 who originally brought Taekwon-Do to South Africa, Master Franks went on to winning many national championships and International championships. later he met Master Xuan Ha (8th Degree GTF )in 2004, an instant bond was formed and Master Franks has been training under Master Xuan Ha ever since, Master Franks has trained over 25 World Champions in GTF Taekwon-Do since 2004. He has been selected as a member of the GTF Executive committee. In 2011 Master Franks later teamed up with Sensei John Mc Grath of Waterford Martial Arts, Ireland a 4th Degree in Ultimate Kickboxing, 3rd degree in Hapkido and winner of many European titles and International awards. Together Master Franks and Sensei Mc Grath brought GTF Taekwon-Do to Waterford Ireland. They now run it in Waterford City and Tramore.
